It all began with a challenge set by my nephews in September 2023.

This challenge led me to delve into the heart of a craft: wheelwrighting, those artisans—part carpenter, part blacksmith—who made wooden wheels.
Literature, training with France’s last remaining wheelwright, interviews with enthusiasts and retired professionals, and so on. This challenge led me to meet so many incredibly inspiring people.
